We have a high level of expertise as we have been in this business for over 11 years.
As you can imagine it would be quite hard to list all of the projects we have participated in, so we have hand-picked some of our favourite projects: which make us say that even though there were a lot of challenges, it was all worth it, and we made the right decision when we decided to work in this industry. We will not go on about this any longer, please see some of our past projects below:
World famous series, extra challenges, and the finish line.
We are incredibly proud of the work we did in 2022 in the “Fauda” series, we had a lot of extremely difficult challenges. For example, we had to react very quickly and organise everything in a very short space and time as the location of the filming was moved, due to the war. A sudden decision was made to move the project from Ukraine to Hungary. Therefore, everything was needed immediately, we provided extras, mainly Arabic ethnic characters and actors.
We have proved ourselves worthy, moreover, we can proudly say the team of Nine Casting has never lost a project, however we have taken projects over from other agencies who were not able to complete it.
“Veszelyes lehet a fagyi!” Fanni Szilagyi’s international film award and 100 more miracles during film making.
We adored this project. We loved it from the bottom of our hearts. Fanni, our childhood friend asked us to work with her, when she received financial support for her first feature film from the “Inkubator” program. The actors, the shooting and the whole project was as sweet for us as a big tube of vanilla ice cream. We really enjoyed working together with her and we were truly proud as even though the budget was challenging, we managed to create a successful production which won an international film award.
A wave of adverts in the Russian market, with extraordinary characters
In the summer of 2022, we worked on 6 Russian adverts. One project was being filmed right after the other, in some cases one project had not even finish yet when the next one had started already. As you can imagine, it was quite hectic. To make things even more challenging, we had to provide extra special characters in a very short time. Also, one of the shooting locations was by Lake Balaton, and we had to find extras and featured extras from that region. Obviously, the fact that we had to work with unknown people made things even more complicated, on the top this the client requested a crowd scene as well. All´s well that ends well. The project ended successfully, and the local people loved taking part of it.
120 Asian ice-skaters? No problem!
We had a very memorable Asian advert, the client requested 120 Asian ice-skaters. It was a memorable project . We rented an ice rink, and we were cast Asian youngsters for a few days. The client could hardly believe that we managed to find that many good-looking Asian ice-skaters in a very short time.
Working together with the best actors of Hungary.
Currently we are working on an Israeli- Hungarian co-production, the most difficult part of this project is the fact that every actor must speak English and must be a professional. We have found 90% of the cast already and we can proudly say that we are working with the best actors of Hungary!
